AEI Corporation and Gensun have joined forces to create a powerful collaboration between two family-owned businesses that prioritize customer service, quality, and value. This partnership aims to provide an unparalleled outdoor product experience for consumers.

The combined product line includes grills, side burners, beverage centers, refrigerators, patio heaters, and ambiance fire features from AEI Corp., along with furniture, tables, kitchens, fire pits, umbrellas, and accessories from Gensun. Both companies are known for their high-quality offerings and strong commitment to independent retailers, avoiding sales to big-box stores.
AEI Corp. has a rich legacy as the original inventor of the outdoor gas grill. “My father built the first gas grill in our garage, and I was right there,†recalled Pete Arnold. Today, AEI continues to innovate with products like its patent-pending automatic timer, which turns off the gas after one hour—ideal for backyard gatherings or apartment living.
Gensun, on the other hand, is a leader in aluminum outdoor furniture and kitchen design. “We use a combination of cast, extruded, and stamped aluminum, along with woven vinyl, fabric, and high-pressure laminate, to create durable, stylish pieces that can withstand all kinds of weather,†explained Jan Trinkley.
Retailers will have the chance to explore the full range of products at upcoming events such as the ICFA Premarket in July and the ICFA Market in September. The companies will also be present at various hospitality, design, and builder shows across the country.
