Earlier this year, Sinotruk signed a contract for the export of 750 tanker semitrailers and 750 6X4 HOWO-A7 tractors with the National Petroleum Corporation of Venezuela. The first batch of 500 tractors began loading on the afternoon of April 27. It was fully loaded at 5:20 AM on April 28 and is expected to arrive in Venezuela on May 20.
This loading was strongly supported by the Dagang Company of the Qingdao Port Group. The Dagang Company did a lot of work for the success of this shipment. China National Heavy Duty Truck and Qingdao Port Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in April 2008. As of the end of April 2009, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group has sent more than 5,600 vehicles to China National Heavy Duty Truck.
