The National Expressway Electronic Non-Parking Toll (ETC) plans to achieve nationwide networking in 2015. The ETC coverage rate of main highway toll stations will reach 100%, and the number of ETC users nationwide will reach 20 million. According to reports, the Ministry of Transport will promote the implementation of the national ETC networking project in phases and in batches. According to the plan, before the end of this year, 14 provinces and cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Guizhou, Anhui, Shandong, and Hunan will realize network operation; before the end of 2015, the country will basically achieve nationwide. All provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) operate in a network.
