This marine incinerator is designed for efficient waste management on board ships, handling solid waste and oil sludge generated during maritime operations. It meets international standards and regulations, including:
- MARPOL 73/78 Annex V, which outlines the requirements for shipboard incinerators
- IMO Resolution MEPC 76(40), adopted on 25 September 1997
- IMO Resolution MEPC 93(45), adopted on 5 October 2000
- MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI, concerning the prevention of air pollution from ships, effective since 19 May 2005
The unit consists of three main components:
