Here are some photos from a three-car collision that occurred on Milwaukee Avenue at Woodlands Parkway on June 6th, 2019, in Vernon Hills. There were multiple people in the three vehicles involved, but all of them signed release forms at the scene. According to reports, the accident happened when one driver pulled to the curb going southbound as a Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District (FPD) ambulance was heading north to transport a patient from a separate incident. The second car failed to stop and hit the first vehicle, and then a third car crashed into the second one. It's a reminder of how quickly things can go wrong on the road.
