New ambulance for Leyden Fire Protection District (more)

Congratulations to Chief Kory Ryan, EMSC Josh Hintz, and the Leyden Fire Protection District in Illinois on the arrival of their brand-new 2018 Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This marks their second unit of this model, as they've chosen to replicate the previous one based on its outstanding performance over the past five years. The reliability and durability of the first ambulance have made them confident in choosing the same model again.

This new ambulance is equipped with a Cool Bar HVAC system for optimal temperature control, Whelen LED warning lights and interior lighting for improved visibility and safety, and an interior layout designed with operational efficiency in mind. It's clear that the team at Leyden has taken great care in ensuring their new vehicle meets all the demands of their emergency response duties.

Semi-welded Plate Heat Exchanger

The Semi-weld Plate heat exchanger plates are welded by laser. the laser welding means that metal is melted by a laser beam from a high power laser. The charge is protected by irert gas Additional welding material is not required.


Semi-welded plate heat exchangers are commonly used in applications where there is a risk of cross-contamination between different fluids due to leaks or cracks in the heat exchanger. They are ideal for applications that require high heat transfer efficiency, such as refrigeration and cooling, heating, and HVAC systems.


The semi-welded plate heat exchanger consists of two types of plates: fully welded plates and gasketed plates. The fully welded plates are used to form the channels for the high-pressure and high-temperature fluids, while the gasketed plates are used to separate the fluids and form the channels for the lower-pressure fluids. This design provides the advantages of both fully welded and gasketed plate heat exchangers, while eliminating their disadvantages.
