Qian Qihu Liu Yong won the National Science and Technology Award

Academician Qian Qihu of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Army Engineering University and Academician Liu Yongtan of Harbin Institute of Technology won the 2018 National Science and Technology Award. The “National Power Frequency High Voltage Full Series Basic Standard Equipment Key Technology and Engineering Application” project hosted by State Grid Jiangsu Power Co., Ltd. has established a full range of high voltage basic standard devices from 1kV to 100kV. The results have been authorized as the highest legal level in China. The social public measurement standard has achieved a complete replacement of foreign products, which has effectively enhanced China's international voice in the field of high-voltage measurement.
