1) Reduce oil supply. In order to accommodate the reduction in the amount of intake air, the amount of fuel supplied must be reduced. Carburetor gasoline engine is generally used to reduce the height of the float chamber oil surface 2 ~ 3mm, a carburetor with a needle can be turned down.
2) Increase the ignition advance angle. In general elevation of 1000 meters, the ignition advance angle can be 2 degrees earlier than the original. 3) Appropriately increase spark plug clearance. In general, the roads with better vehicle conditions and sewage suction trucks , suction trucks, engine spark plug gap can increase about O.25 mm, and some of the poor state of the car can increase O.15 mm or so.
In order to improve the burning rate, make the fuel burn fully and reduce the generation of carbon deposit, the gap of the spark plug can be appropriately increased and the ignition voltage can be increased accordingly. Generally, the gap between the engine suction plug and the engine suction plug of the suction truck can be increased by about 0.25mm, and the condition of the vehicle can be increased by about 0.15mm.
4) Ensure that the coolant operates within normal temperature. The normal temperature of the engine cooling water is 80~90°C. It is necessary to use the shutters and insulation to adjust the engine water temperature in time. This is mainly because in the plateau area, the pressure is low, the boiling point of water is also low, and the cooling water in the cooling system is easy to boil. More time, more load, more prone to overheating; and in the next long slope, due to excessive cooling, water tank temperature is too low. Therefore, it is necessary to correctly control the engine temperature while driving, otherwise, fuel consumption will increase.
5) Adjust idle speed to the lowest stable state
The ramps in the mountains and plateaus are numerous and long, and there are more idle times. In order to save fuel, idle speed should be adjusted to the lowest steady state. For the carburetor gasoline engine, the mandatory idler fuel economy with good quality and stable fuel economy is selected. When the sewage suction truck and the suction truck are in the long slope, the fuel supply to the carburetor is stopped and the fuel consumption is reduced.
