Tianhua Institute passed three major provincial science and technology projects

Recently, Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research and Design Institute took on the "20,000 tons / year polypropylene post-processing complete sets of equipment development", "polyolefin extrusion granulation control system development" and "Labyrinth Compressor Series "Development and development" and other three major science and technology projects in Gansu Province passed the acceptance of the Science and Technology Department of Gansu Province.

The “20,000 tons/year polypropylene post-processing complete sets of technical equipment development” and “polyolefin extrusion granulation control system development” projects rely on the “Yangtze Petrochemical Company's “30,000 tons gas pipeline special material extrusion granulation device””. Successfully developed the first full-process polyolefin post-processing complete set of technology and equipment in China. The equipment integrates a full-process polyolefin extrusion granulation process and post-processing control technology, an ultra-low melt index polyolefin twin-screw assembly technology, and a large twin screw Extruder thermal deformation control technology, two-column non-stop hydraulic network-changing technology and underwater pelletizing technology are all integrated to fill gaps in the domestic market and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level.

During the implementation period of the project, a total of 11 technical papers were published, 12 patents were applied for, including 3 patents for invention; 10 patents have been granted, including 1 patent for invention; 5 professor-level senior engineers and 3 senior engineers have been promoted. 8 engineers; 2 masters in total.

The successful development of the project enabled the independent research and development of polyolefin post-processing complete sets of technologies and equipment. Compared with imported equipment, it can save about 40% to 50% of equipment investment and can completely replace the same size of imported extrusion granulation units. At the same time, it also laid the foundation for the development of large-scale polyolefin post-processing equipment.

The “Labyrinth Compressor Series Development” project is to develop two-, three-, and four-row labyrinth compressors through relevant experimental research, technological development, mastering the key technologies of structural design, sealing technology, and manufacturing of labyrinth compressors. The serialization of the labyrinth compressor has filled the domestic gap and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. The project innovatively developed a new cylinder and piston labyrinth tooth profile, established a labyrinth compressor seal leakage calculation model, and formed a labyrinth seal design technology; through the numerical simulation analysis of the piston rod rigidity and vibration, the accurate guidance of the piston rod was formed. Centering technology; large-diameter, short-diameter double-faced mechanical hermetic seal technology; precision of multi-row labyrinth compressor column spacing guarantee manufacturing and assembly technology. The product of this project passed the assessment of industrial equipments of Zhejiang Hongji Petrochemical Co., Ltd., PetroChina Huabei Petrochemical Branch Company and Sinopec Tianjin Branch. The technical indicators meet the design and user requirements.
