It's been a few days since the last update, but travel and other commitments have kept everyone busy. However, we're working on several updates that will be posted in the next few days. Our contributors have been out capturing images of fire apparatus, and it takes some time to organize everything and upload the photos properly. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming: Jack Connors has submitted new CFD updates, including details about the Mundelein Fire Department’s equipment. Below is a photo of one of their engines:

Karl Klotz has also sent updated images of CFD apparatus, along with fresh photos of several fire stations. Here’s a look at Engine 45’s station:

Hank, Karl, Bill, and Larry, along with George Reichardt and Jeff Schielke, recently visited all 10 Naperville Fire Stations. The entire department will be fully updated by the end of the week. Here’s a shot of one of their aerials:

Larry has also captured some new shots from Palatine and Rolling Meadows, taken during a large commercial fire last Friday. These images are currently missing from the site and will soon be added. Here are a couple of examples:
