It's been a few days since the last update, and between travel and other commitments, there hasn’t been much time to work on the site. But don’t worry—several new updates are coming soon. Our contributors have been busy capturing images of fire apparatus, and it takes some time to organize everything and upload the photos properly. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:
Jack Connors has submitted a number of CFD updates, including detailed photos of the Mundelein Fire Department’s equipment. One standout image shows a Pierce Saber engine stationed in Mundelein, captured by Jack.
Karl Klotz has also sent in fresh CFD apparatus photos, along with updated shots of several fire stations. A recent photo highlights Engine 45’s station, showing its current red doors, taken by Karl.
Hank, Karl, Bill, and Larry, along with George Reichardt and Jeff Schielke, recently visited all 10 Naperville fire stations. The entire department will be fully updated and ready by the end of the week. One of the featured images is a 2009 Spartan Crimson 103' rear-mount quint, captured by Larry Shapiro.
Larry also has a collection of Palatine and Rolling Meadows apparatus photos that are currently missing from the site. These were taken on-site during a large commercial fire last Friday. Among them is a 1999 Ford Excellance used as a reserve squad, and a 2000 EONE pumper responding to a fire at Wings Resale Shop.
