The VDE-0472 Cable Flexibility Test Machine is designed for high-quality testing of cable flexibility, meeting international standards such as IEC-60227-1 and VDE-0472. Description

The test specimen is a 5-meter-long cable that is bent over pulleys with specified diameters. Each end of the cable is loaded with a weight, while each conductor is also subjected to current. The pulleys move at a constant speed of approximately 0.33 m/s over a distance of 1 meter, causing the cable to be reciprocally bent and tightened. The machine stops automatically when the cable breaks or the preset number of cycles is reached. Afterward, the flexibility of the sample can be evaluated.
