Determination of rutile ore dressing process

1. Magnetic separation test

Red gold ore sample is ground to a fineness -74μm95%, the magnetic separator to magnetic separation, the magnetic field intensity of 0.7T. The magnetic separation results showed that the magnetic product yield was 19.74%, the grade was 0.58%, and the rutile occupancy was 4.95% at a magnetic field strength of 0.7T. Magnetic separation removes a large amount of magnetic minerals, and rutile is initially enriched in non-magnetic products.

2, spiral chute desliming test

After the fine grinding of the rutile ore, the mineral particle size is fine, which affects the index of the flotation test. Therefore, the spiral chute is used for the deliming test. 5kg of rutile ore was ground to -74μm to account for 95% for magnetic separation, and the magnetic separation concentrate was taken into the spiral chute to remove the slime, and the test was repeated three times. It can be seen from the test results that magnetic separation of the ore by magnetic separation equipment can discard the tailings by 20% to 27%. The yield of the non-magnetic product after deliming using a spiral chute was 65.83%, and the recovery rate was 90.04%.

3. Flotation closed circuit test

The concentrate obtained from the deliming test enters the flotation operation, and the flotation closed-circuit test is carried out with styrenephosphonic acid (SPA) and n-octanol (OCT) as the combined collector . The flotation closed-circuit test flow is shown in the figure. After four times of material recycling, the rutile yield and metal amount tend to balance, and the last two flotation indicators are shown in the table. The results of the closed-circuit test showed that the weighted average of the two results obtained a concentrate yield of 4.10%, a grade of 70.98%, and a recovery rate of 88.60%. Rutile is well enriched and rutile has a high recovery rate.

4, flotation concentrate magnetic separation - roasting - pickling

Floated concentrate grade rutile about 70%, which still contain the iron ore of titanium, a small amount of impurities such as amphibolite, most low sulfur and phosphorus, subject to magnetic separation to remove impurities such as ilmenite is removed, and the roasting of sulfur acid Phosphorus can get high grade rutile. Flotation concentrate magnetic separation (wet magnetic separation).

It can be seen from the above test that after the combined process, the magnetic separation tail is about 20%, and the de-sludge product enters the flotation to obtain 70.98% of the flotation concentrate grade, and the operation recovery rate is 88.60%. The flotation concentrate was subjected to magnetic separation-baking-acid washing, and finally the concentrate grade was 89.53%, and the recovery rate was 74.78%. It is feasible to use the magnetic separation-re-election-flotation combined process for the rutile mine.

By using a CCTV monitor, a bar, people can realize the target to search thing under the car or dirty water pipe underground. Some product can use waterproof camera, and also bar can be bent and extended to several meters.  With the memo card, people can double check the video in order to make some investigation.
