From the Fire Service, Inc. Facebook page:
Congratulations to Chief Jeffery Springer and the entire team at the Chicago Heights Fire Department on the arrival of their brand-new Frontline Model M1 ambulance! This state-of-the-art unit was built on a 2016 Chevrolet C3500 4×2 Silverado chassis and features a powerful 6.6L diesel engine. It's the fourth new ambulance for this hardworking south suburban fire department, helping them better serve their community.
This advanced ambulance is packed with cutting-edge features, including full LED emergency and interior lighting, a Tomar Opticom system for enhanced visibility, and a custom Havis swing-out tablet docking station. It also includes a 20A Kussmaul Super Auto Eject, a custom Med-Vault, and an extra wall-mounted suction unit and charger. The short-wheelbase Frontline Model M1 from RevGroup is designed to be compact, durable, and reliable—perfect for any fleet looking for efficiency without sacrificing performance.
The all-aluminum, modular body offers over 56 cubic feet of exterior storage and 45 cubic feet of interior space. With a standard 146-inch length and 90-inch width, it provides 68 inches of headroom inside. These models can be equipped with or without a CPR seat, making them versatile for different operational needs.
