Since the beginning of January, orders for heavy trucks from Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd., a well-known heavy-duty truck manufacturer, have come one after another. In January, Shaanxi Auto produced 12,253 vehicles and sold 8991 vehicles, which all increased by more than 7 times year-on-year, creating a new record for production and sales in the first month since the plant was built.
It is no accident that Shaanqi’s production and operation in the off-season is not declining. In the cold weather of the international financial crisis in 2009, Shaanxi Automobile proposed to take the initiative to transition to service-oriented manufacturing, and made every effort to open up two markets at home and abroad, constantly innovating products and successfully introducing new products of DeLong F3000. The continuous improvement in fuel economy and lighter weight, minimizing energy consumption, reducing vehicle self-respect, increasing vehicle speed, and greatly improving user benefits. In early January, there were more than 200 orders for daily orders. On January 22, the orders exceeded 600, and on January 24th orders broke through again.
At present, Shaanxi Auto has formulated an ambitious development plan. In 2010, Shaanxi Auto will plan to produce and sell 159,000 vehicles, realize industrial output value of 37.9 billion yuan, sales revenue of 36.0 billion yuan, export 15,000 vehicles, and earn 600 million U.S. dollars.
