Although the heating flotation process has many advantages, there are still some technical problems. In practice, attention should be paid to and further resolved.

Lime-steam heating method or other inhibitor heating method has stronger inhibitory effect on minerals, but the heating method without adding chemicals mainly relies on selective desorption, so the inhibitory effect on minerals is weak. Therefore, a large number of intermediate ore cycles are often caused. In order to reduce the circulation of the mine, the temperature of the slurry should be strictly controlled. For example, the temperature of the selected and sweeping operations should be slightly higher than the roughing temperature.
(2) Attention should be paid to improving working conditions. As the slurry is warmed, the temperature of the plant will increase, and water vapor and drug decomposition products (such as CS 2 ) will increase. Thus the working conditions are deteriorated.
(3) Pay attention to mechanical lubrication and corrosion protection. Due to heating, the flotation machine is heated, the bearing lubricant will melt out, and high temperature grease should be used instead of butter to prevent the lubricant from flowing into the slurry, damage the flotation unit and destabilize the flotation process.
