Technip receives an order for 500 million euros of subsea equipment
French engineering company Technip said on April 8 that it has signed an EPSCI contract with Total E&P Congo for a large-scale submarine equipment of more than €500 million for the Moho Nord development project in West Africa.
Under the contract, Technip will provide services such as 230 km of pipelines, 23 km of flexible pipelines, 50 km of Umbilicals, 50 subsea structures, Rigid Jumpers, procurement, supply, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
The project is about 75 meters from the Congo coast and has a water depth of 650-1100 meters. The company also receives installations for Manifolds, pumps, control system components and Multiphase Jumpers. Technip plans to launch a subsea installation support vessel for offshore engineering projects in 2014-16.
