The UV aging test chamber simulates dew and rain with consideration for humidity and/or water spray. It is equipped with a fluorescent UV lamp that can fully simulate the UV spectrum of sunlight. The machine exposes materials to alternating cycles of UV light and moisture at controlled, elevated temperatures.
This equipment is widely used to test types of outdoor damage that would take several months or years to appear, such as color change, gloss loss, chalking, cracking, crazing, hazing, blistering, strength loss, and oxidation. With this machine, these damages can be reproduced in just a few days or weeks.
The light source uses 8 pieces of 40W UV lamps, distributed on both sides of the machine. This setup ensures that material damage caused by sunlight (UV) and rain (spray) occurs quickly and realistically.
Application: Paints, coatings & inks, plastics, printing packaging, aluminum materials, adhesives, automotive & motorcycle parts, cosmetics, metals, electronics, electroplating, pharmaceuticals, and more.

1. The machine can perform two types of testing: aging and anti-yellowing.
2. Aging: It can accelerate the deterioration of sulfur rubber and calculate the rate of change in tensile strength and elongation before and after heat exposure. One day of testing at 70°C is theoretically equivalent to six months of natural exposure.
3. Anti-yellowing: It simulates atmospheric conditions driven by ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Nine hours of testing at 50°C is typically considered equivalent to six months of natural exposure.
