Good morning from the Glenside Fire Protection District. This is Deputy Chief James L. Larsen speaking.
We’re excited to announce that our new ambulance, *Medic 710*, has officially been put into service. The unit is a 2011 International Medtec model, which we acquired through Foster Coach Sales. It’s a Type I ambulance, built on an International HCV 4300 chassis, and it’s equipped with all the latest medical technology to ensure the highest level of care for our community.
You can see the new ambulance in the attached photos. The first image shows the front of the vehicle, while the second highlights the rear design, including the distinctive chevron striping that helps increase visibility and safety on the road. These images were taken during the official handover and are provided by the Glenside Fire Protection District.
This new unit replaces an older model and marks a significant step forward in our ability to respond to emergencies quickly and effectively. We appreciate your continued support and remain committed to serving our residents with professionalism and care.
