Technip orders 4 ROV devices

On November 5th, Technip Odebrecht PLSV CV announced that it has placed four PerryTM XLX G2 ROV (Underwater Robots) equipment at Forum Energy Technologies for two new pipelaying vessels, currently in the Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean in South Korea. Shipyard construction.

It is reported that the four ROVs will be delivered in 2013 and installed on two pipelaying vessels. The two pipelaying vessels have received a five-year lease from Petrobras, with a total lease amount of approximately $1 billion. After delivery, the two pipelaying vessels will travel to the lower salt waters of Brazil to install underwater umbilicals, flexible pipelines and risers with a working depth of over 2,500 meters.
