Firefighters honored Buffalo Grove Firefighter/Paramedic Kevin Hauber on Friday, who passed away last weekend after a long battle with colon cancer. His dedication to his community and his profession left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

During the funeral, Hauberâ€™s casket was carried to St. Maryâ€™s Church by a fire truck, part of a solemn procession that included several emergency vehicles, symbolizing the respect and gratitude from the first responders who called him a brother.
