MVA in Buffalo Grove, 3-21-17

This is from Larry Shapiro:

On Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017, firefighters and police from Buffalo Grove were called to the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Buffalo Grove Road following a two-car collision involving a reported "pin-in" situation. Upon arrival, first responders stabilized one vehicle that had knocked down a traffic signal and successfully removed the occupant, who was then taken by Buffalo Grove Ambulance 26 to a local hospital for further evaluation. The driver of the second car was assessed by Long Grove paramedics but did not require transport.

The scene was chaotic, with emergency vehicles quickly arriving to secure the area and assist in the recovery efforts. Several photos from the incident show the aftermath of the crash, including a car that had collided with a pole, as well as Buffalo Grove Fire Department units working to clear the site. Firefighters were seen using cribbing to stabilize the wreckage, while ambulance and police units remained on scene to manage traffic and ensure public safety.
