The Zhejiang Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Service Center recently revealed that its annual sales reached 10 billion yuan, representing 11.5% of the national auto parts market. Yuhuan County in Zhejiang has now become the first auto parts industrial base officially recognized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, marking a significant milestone for the region.
It is reported that Yuhuan County is home to over 1,800 automobile and motorcycle parts manufacturers, employing more than 80,000 people. The county produces an extensive range of products, including 31 series with over 5,000 different items such as shock absorbers, gears, and steering wheels. These products cater to heavy, medium, and light-duty vehicles, as well as specialized models, covering almost all components except the vehicle body itself.
Notably, over 2,000 of these products have been exported internationally, with an annual export value reaching $55 million. This highlights the growing global presence and competitiveness of Yuhuan's auto parts industry.
As the local economy continues to develop, the county is expected to play an even more crucial role in China’s automotive supply chain. With strong support from the government and continuous investment in technology and infrastructure, Yuhuan is well-positioned to maintain its leadership in the auto parts sector.
