With the rapid growth of China's automotive industry, the auto parts sector has emerged as a promising field, offering significant business opportunities. Among these, the automotive fiberglass industry—using advanced composite materials—has gained momentum and is now a key player in this evolving market.
Sun Bohuai, chairman of the China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association, noted, "The era of globalization in the automotive industry has arrived. It's increasingly difficult for automakers to source all components domestically, and they must shift from relying solely on internal production to sourcing globally. This means resources will be allocated more efficiently across borders."

Fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP) are particularly favored due to their light weight, design flexibility, corrosion resistance, and excellent molding properties, making them an ideal alternative to traditional steel.
As the automotive market becomes more globalized and competition intensifies, vehicle quality expectations continue to rise while cost pressures fall. The 3rd China International Auto Body Exhibition (CAPA), supported by five major organizations including the China Automotive Engineering Society’s Auto Body Technology Subcommittee, the China FRP Industry Association, and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, will take place alongside the Beijing Auto Show in 2006. It will be held at the Beijing China International Trade Center.

Renowned national academicians and industry experts will deliver presentations, offering valuable insights into the future of the automotive materials sector.
